Val Barfoot (1897–1987) & Maurice Thompson (1907–1968) were posthumously inducted into the NZ Business Hall of Fame on 31 July, 2013. Their official biographies were read by Alex Shepherd from Auckland Grammar School, and the citations were accepted by Val's son Garth and Maurice's grandson Peter.
