Anne & David Norman
Anne and David Norman have worked together for over 35 years. Their first enterprise was a small building development company of which David was the foreman and Anne ran the office. From this small humble beginning, their business interests have grown into the large retail business they operate today. Collectively they operate nine brands including Pascoes, Farmers and Whitcoulls. They have over 650 retail outlets and have approximately 10,000 employees in New Zealand and Australia.
The pair are active philanthropists with their primary charity being the Leukaemia and Blood Foundation. They chose this charity as both have lost siblings to a leukaemia-related disease. Additionally the University of Auckland's faculty of Medical and Health Sciences offers an annual grant, the Anne and David Norman Fellowship in Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research.
